For some coincidence the first thing I tried in bing was the word Google and then I saw the results which look like, obviously "google", there is a "translate this page" and a "cached page" link associated with every search result.
The following pictures show Bing's web page, all I see is a google like web page with just a left column for related searches!
hitting the "cached page" link reveals that one, please tell me thats not google, with the highlight of the search words and ... whatever, you get it!
ok now let's try something else, let's ask "BING" for the equivalent of 2$ in euro, here is the query "2$ in €"
just look at the results :
obviously "Bing" is ignoring special characters like $ and € (is that a filtering issue :D ).
Let's try something else, since it has not too much to give like Google does, let's see how it deals with Wolfram|Alpha, I tried the following query : "fly from paris to rome" and see that
At least Google propose sponsored links for online reservation.
After these 5 mins trying what can be done, just tell me what am missing here? why would I use bing for my researches since I can type google 3000 times without looking to the keyboard, why would I give up that to lean typing those BONG words!
